Well, it's that time of year. My wife's birthday's on February 14 and I gave her a custom 1000 piece puzzle for her birthday last year and she loved it.
I took some pictures and let my fellow forumites select one.
Time to choose again.

Now this year, we biked the C&O Canal Towpath to it's end in Cumberland and I want the puzzle to reflect that.

1. The canal at lock 75, which is the last leg before the Canal Place in Cumberland MD:

2. Lock 75 on the right, the lock house on the left and the trail going of into the woods:

3. Railway Station at Canal Place, has a really cool museum inside:

4. 'nuther angle:

5. Really cool mural and a sign designating the end of the C&O Towpath and the start of the G. A. P. trail:

I don't mind telling you I voted for Number 1. There's a tranquility to it that the others lack. Number 2 comes sorta close, but doesn't measure up to the first one.

Number 1 makes me want to go there, to be there. The others don't.

Brother in law did a huge one that was 100% white......it had small pieces too.. he got in on leave from the Army before Christmas and when dinner dishes were cleared off & the gifts had been handed out.. he started it & finished it over the next several days. It was way past my level of patience.

I didn't vote for any of them. I think you should get one made from a picture of the sky on a cloudless day and see how good she really is. :p

OK, I lied. I really did vote for one, but I'll never tell which one. ;)

Number 4 looks very challenging, and she must like challenges, since she married you ;) I'm voting for number 2, just because I think it's a great pic. I'm not a great jigsaw puzzle guy, but if that makes her happy, you know what they say about a "happy life." Sure shows her you care enough to make her present special. Wish her happy birthday from the inmates on the Forum.

Bump, bump it up.
I'm kinda leaning toward #3. It's a land mark between the C&O Canal and the beginning of the Gap trail.
#1's a nice shot and would make a good puzzle but it could be most anywhere along the trail.
