QD mount for MOE stock

What do I need to mount a QD socket on the MOE stock on my Sport carbine? Do I use this:

Magpul Industries SGA Stock Type 1 Sling Mount ?

Or where do I put the socket on this stock? Drill out the hole in the bottom edge of the stock's toe? I don't like the socket that mounts in the slot of the stock [QD Rotation Limited Sling MOUNT-N-SLOT].
