I am wondering if the government did pass some crazy gun ban laws. Couldn't states just pass there own laws making it legal once more? Wouldn't this be something that would see court time like Obama care?

Some have already passed "firearms freedom laws"... but I sincerely doubt that any State would actually DO anything to enforce it and actually stand up to Washington's tyranny.

No.
Assuming that the Federal Government has the right to make a law about something, the Federal law will trump State law.
Its called Federal supremacy, or something like that.

For example, if Federal Law says that a transfer between a person and an FFL requires a NICS check, the state cannot say: "In our state, checks between persons and FFL's do not require a NICS check."

If Federal law says that all transfers of firearms must go through an FFL with a NICS check (i.e., closing the gunshow loophole), a state cannot pass a law saying that "In our state transfers do not have to go through an FFL and do not need a NICS check."
