Greetings! Just to be upfront, this question was posted on the Sig Forum yesterday, without any answers.

I am contemplating purchasing a Sig P210 Target for use in CMP P100 and Excellence In Competition matches. When I tried the P210 at the Sig Academy's demo bay during the Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit, I fell in love with it. One handed at 25 yards, I was able to put 5 shots into a group that could be covered by a half dollar coin.

The problem is, while CMP rules require a service pistol have a trigger pull of at least 4 pounds, the Sig comes with a 3.5 pound trigger. When I called the Sig Experience Center, the representative that I spoke with had no clue.

Does anyone here (especially someone that might own one) know if the trigger pull on a Sig P210 Target is adjustable?

As always, thanks in advance for your assistance!

I do own one but unfortunately I don't know for sure if the trigger is adjustable or not . I've had mine apart a number of times for cleaning and have not noticed any type of adjustment screws for the trigger assembly. It has to be pretty simple procedure to replace the trigger spring with one that's a little heavier though .
Perhaps try calling Sig once again and hopefully you'll get someone a little more knowledgeable than the previous rep you spoke with .

It is adjustable for both pull weight (adjust spring tension) and first stage-second stage breakover (cam adjustment). Sig says nothing about it anywhere but there are a few instructions on the internet that point you in the right direction.

I love the trigger in my Target but have found they vary from gun to gun so make sure you get one that isn’t creepy. Also, I bought a Carry version but could not get the trigger to feel right despite its heavier hammer spring for its purpose so I sold it.

Whenever I feel bad about my declining pistol shooting accuracy I break out my P210 American Target and show myself I can still shoot well, with the right gun. Maybe the swiss ones are even better but too much $$.

Everyone, thank you for this invaluable information.

@Zeke, would it be possible for you to email copies of the instructions that you uploaded?

I believe that you all have helped me decide on a new target pistol!

It looks like you've made up your mind to buy the Sig P210 . I don't think you will have any regrets .
It's not an inexpensive purchase but it is well worth it I think. I purchased mine about 6 months ago when they could still be had for $1499 ...I see they are now around the $1900 mark .
I bought mine sight unseen based on all the positive reviews I read pretty much every where .
I have not been disappointed and there is no buyers remorse.
