For those of you who have went to the Robar Co and gotten the MP3+ finish who of you use a Kydex Holster for their ccw's and who use leather.

Everyone has their own personal likes. I've heard from several, to stay away from anything that isn't leather because it will ruin even the NP3 finish. They all say go to leather. I carry at all times 5 days a week for work and when i go out after.

Since i've just had it refinished and finally gotten my xtra mags from S&W i have only 2 more tasks. #1 - to find a belt slide holster and mag carrier from the same company for ultimate concealment at all times. I can't do the IWB holsters.

Last i think i call Trijicon about every 2 weeks and ask if they are ever going to produce sights thgat are specific to the M&P SHIELD. Don't think i'll ever get the answer i was hoping for.

Suggestions/opinions here on holster sets & sights appreciated.

Sorry for the mis-spelt words

Long day fingers went wrong way on my words especially the finish which shoulda been NP3#. In fact the only good thing was the mags that were ordered months ago FINALLY came in.

I can't answer your question of wear of your np3 finish, but I use a Galco Stinger OWB made specifically for the shield and have seen no wear on the stock melonite finish. Also I put on the trijicon SA137Y hd nite sights and their POA/POI is the same. There is a slight overhang.over 1200rds and not a single hiccup.

Had my sight changed, and slight over hang, if I didn't know about I probably would never see it. Shoot straight!

I got a beltslide holster from bullhidebelts.com because there quality is top notch and the price is very reasonable.

Thanks for the website you sent Pyro

Checked out the website and it seems like they have decent holsters as well as prices. I'm kinda overly picky though -- if i'm going to buy a holster from a company i also like to buy a mag carrier but searching their website they don't don't list any.

I've carried my M&P9c (NP3d) that I've carried in Kydex holsters with no finish wear. But I don't really like Kydex so I switched back to leather. This is a super durable finish that wears better than any I've ever used on a gun. And although I prefer leather I wouldn't worry about Kydex harming your finish.
