Hi, I have been a member for quite awhile, but for some reason I stayed away (too long by the way)! Now i am asking for some advice! I have a disabled friend that feels like he can no longer use his firearms and he has asked me to see if I could help him sell them. The one that I know you guys can help me with is his 696 44 Spec. It is a no dash model with the firing pin on the hammer. It is in very nice used shape and has the original box. Anyway, it has extras also like bone (real) grips plus the originals, and a complete set of El Paso leather. Shoulder holster, pancake holster, shell pouch and speed loader pouch.
The question I have is what is a good ball park figure for all of this stuff or just the pistol. I hate to try to sell stuff for friends and have to price stuff so far off what the market will bear. I don't know for sure if he has a bottom price, but I would like to be able to tell him if he is too high!! This has happened to me before.
I'm aware that the ones I see for sale are pretty high, but I would like to be able to make it easy on both of us.
I would appreciate any opinions you may have on what I should do!
Thanks for your help,
Ken
Now, I had better make sure my contact info is correct!!!
