Does anyone here know where to determine what years this center operated, particularly when it ceased operation, and the names of the gunsmith(s) who were employed there? (My vague recollection is his first name was Jim.)
I have a model 66-1 that was changed from a 2-1/2" to a 6" barrel at that location at the request of a fellow deputy, and I'm just trying to add some more specifics to the history of this one if possible.
