quick Julian Date question

I forgot how to decode date on the original box, can you refresh my memory again, thank you.

Under "Spec. Ord." it has 6099

Is it correct its 99 days into 2006?

Edit: I apologize I was thinking everyone is Professor X (Charles Francis Xavier) but it was a model 624 (no dash) Product code is 103581.

There is a little sleuthing involved, as the Special Order code system was used from the 1980s into the 2000s. But for a model 624 I would guess 99 days into 1986.

It would be April 9 or 10 (depending on leap year) 1986, 1996, 2006, etc. Murphydog is probably correct about 1986.
