Excuse me if this has been asked before, but I've spent some time reading and have a few questions on rails:
Weaver and Picatinny are pretty much the same rail? A weaver will fit on a Picatinny, but not always the other way around ?
Dovetail - same as both or something totally different.
I have a 10 22 with a Barska rifle scope on it.
Put a TruGlo on my MP 15 22.
Now I have ordered a Sig 522 which may or may not come with sights, called the factory and the customer service wasn't sure, but said the 2 now in production are being sent out with sights. The Sig 522 comes with Picatinny rail and I'm looking ahead of time on what to put on it. Thanks for any replies.
