Raised sights for suppressor

Get sights that will clear the can height. I made the mistake of
getting suppressor height sights and after installing them when
the can finally came in( 7 months later ) they were too short. I
can still shoot out to 25 yards just fine but anything further out
is hard to do. You might talk your dealer into letting you screw
the can in and doing some measurements to get what you need
height wise. These were installed on a glock 23 but the idea is
still valid.

I can see the problem with that. Fortunately I already have the can. Just looking for suggestions of what works and from which sight manufacturers.

Will you be regularly shooting past 25 yards? Are you hunting or is it primarily for home defense?

I put on a LaserMax red laser on the dust cover. It shoots POA once it was sighted in on both my M&P 22 compact and my Beretta 92S. My 22 did not actually need it, but the laser is better than the iron sights. I put Williams Fire Sights on the 22 for when I don't use the suppressor (not shown in the picture). However the 9mm can was too high for my sights so the laser is perfect.

Dawson has a sight height calculator that is helpful, and they make many different height sights. Some have tritium inserts.

I like my Heine Straight Eight night sights for their quality and simplicity. I have a set on my Trijicon RMR equipped M&P 9mm. Unfortunately, I think Heine only makes one height of elevated sights. I don’t know if they would be tall enough.

Both companies would be helpful through customer service in determining what you want and could use.

I looked at the Heine sights today for my H&K VP9 which is also suppressor equipped. I like the ease of the install. I suppose I'll contact them and Trijicon for some info.

I was hoping to get some first hand experience before contacting the companies tho.
