Snagged one these cheap as a likely 9mm for my wife. They are easy to rack thanks to the action being a gas delayed blowback with a piston, just like a H&K P7.

Read that the M2 model was easier to disassemble than the original model and the trigger was supposed to be improved. Improved over what, an 1895 Nagant? The trigger on this thing is ugly. All kinds of drag/grit are evident if you try a slow squeeze for ultimate accuracy. Nope, the best bet is to heave through all that in one stroke. It doesn't help accuracy as you can see below, but it's still minute of bad guy I suppose. That said, I know that my wife would give this trigger a hard no. She would ask for her 380 EZ back, immediately.

The gas delay system seems to work very well. If the recoil with 124 gr ammo was worse than the other 9mm pistols, I couldn't tell. I could have tried some 115 gr, but sometimes lighter loadings don't do well in this type of action as there is less gas pressure to impart the delay.

Some pictures.
