BattleComp / Mossie Tactics 2400 Light Mount Picatinny

This easy to install light mount is designed to place a weaponlight at 12 o’clock for ambidextrous and wireless use and casts minimal barrel shadow. Works with or without a railed handguard. Does not alter the host weapon. Attaches to standard and F Front Sight Bases (FSB).
Unobstructed sight picture when used with the following:
• Surefire X300
• Streamlight TLR1, TLR3
• Streamlight/Insight Technologies M3
• Insight Procyon/WX150
Compatible with Streamlight TLR2 and Surefire X400, but sight picture is obstructed.

The BattleComp 1.0

BattleComp 1.0 is a multi-purpose compensator that reduces muzzle climb, so you stay on target between shots during rapid fire. Reduces flash signature and produces less concussion than the standard a2 flash hider for a smaller dust signature when shooting prone. BattleComp 1.0 fits .223/5.56 rifles with ½"-28 TPI muzzle threads.

Looks are just a bonus with this charging handle. The right latch is slightly longer than the left hand side, which helps out with working around the forward assist. The latch motion is very smooth.

I spoke with the CEO of BattleComp. While the setup depicted in my previous post is not an optimal setup, it will still be fine. Majority of the blast will be taken by the mount and their will a lot of soot on the lens. Some people have recommended putting chapstick on the lens. This will help in removing the built up carbon.
