Re: Is the 15-22 an Assault Weapon under CA Law on ebay?

Just wanted to let the collective know that 6 days have passed since I talked to the ebay guy in SE Asia with the promise that I would receive an email from the investigative team in 72 hours about them pulling my listing.

So far NO RESPONSE....(crickets chirping)

Also noted that there are around 100 listings on ebay specifically fro the 15-22 as of today.

Have they UN-Caved?

Thanks

I use to see +200 listings for "M&P 15-22". Then it literally dropped to 10-15. And as of right now, I see 111 items and a ton of stuff that was once removed - including mags.

So, maybe they just played the pandering game for a few days and shut some auctions down and/or maybe people just have more to sell now. But it is a heck of a swing over a 10 day period.

Holly shizzzzz.... there is a shorty 10 round with 13 bids at $81... geez, what morons

Why moronic?

Do you foresee a huge influx of mags becoming available in the near future???

I think the point Locked-N-Loaded is making is, if there is a ban, it won't effect the short 10-round magazines and that at some point the supply of short 10-round magazines will return to normal, along with the prices. Like the Twinkie-pocalypse prices, it shows that there will always be people with too much money and not enough sense.

Because people are "feeding" the frenzy. Time to sit back, kick your feet up and laugh at the people with too much money on their hands. Ain't no way in hades they'll ever get their waisted money back when this all gets back to normal and the bottom drops back out. Many of us learned from the past and didn't "miss the train" and go into panic mode trying to catch up. I "could" sell some of mine and make all my money back and more or less have everything I now have for free, but I'm not that gready. I already have what I need.

That's excellent for those of you whom have everything they need but for those of us JUST getting into these, one mag ain't cuttin' it ;)

I hate paying these prices but I'm spending too much time loading and not enough time actually SHOOTING lol.

Evidently I'm not patient.

Don't worry, this all will turn around. THEN you can get into a more comfortable positition. No sence waisting good money on WAY over priced items that some people (that don't even own a weapon) bought cheap and are out to just make money. Let them eat them.

I know it's ruff going to the range with one magazine, but the way I look at is, the money that I save today will buy me double, if not more, the amount of magazines in the near future.

Why moronic? Why moronic?

$80+ dollars for a $20 10 round mag? And one you can't even convert to a hi-cap?

Moronic was being amazingly nice.

And to answer your question... yes mags will be back in a few months now that xmas has passed, Obummer made his executive rulings and people have blown their money. And add to that... 3 weeks ago or so I bought 10 25rnd mags direct from s&w... and paid proper retail.

I've noticed a few threads saying that the S&W store is starting to catch up with the supply side of the demand, Here's hoping the rest of the firearm industry is starting to catch up.

I hope they don't over invest in catching up, because the market won't always be there. Maybe run some extra shifts or something but if they do expand too much and the bubble pops (which it will) the entire industry could be threatened.
