On behalf of all the old timers and backyard target shooters, I'd LOVE to see the model 41-1 reintroduced.
If S&W won't do THAT, how about remaking the 41-1 short conversion kit? They used to make that an option / stand alone catalog item. Oh it would be so nice!
For either of these options, S&W has the engineering already done... and I would be very happy to buy several .22 short magazines again.
