I'm trying to find a pair of non bi-focal reading safety glasses to use while I shoot (1.0+ magnification). I'm currently shooting with my reading glasses, but I need more protection around my eyes than the drug store versions. Does anybody know where I can order a pair? All I can find are bi-focal ones.

Try a brand called "Radians" they make non bifocal magnifying safety glasses as well as bifocal.
Do they make lenses that the whole lense is a reading glass, vice just having the molded in diopter?
I can't seem to find them if they do.

Why not have your optician make you a set of shooting glasses with the focus set for the gun helt at arms length, (or how ever you compete with it).
I saw just what you're looking for in Wally World yesterday. Safety glasses with bifocal "lenses" were on a rack in the AUTOMOTIVE section...on an endcap corner.

You very well might be correct in pointing out the "error" in my post.
However, I presumed the OP was asking for safety glasses with JUST a reading correction. (i.e. correction in lower part of lens; NO correction straight ahead.)
I cannot imagine wearing full framed "reading lenses." Just tried walking around with my reading glasses on the bridge of my nose. Made me dizzy.
All said, if I was in error, my apology.

My job paid for employee safety glasses. The good ones have the tempered glass lenses. The cheap ones had plastic or poly carbonate lenses. Scratched up so easily I couldn't wait until the year was up to get new ones with the glass lenses. When I retired every time I had to get new ones always paid the extra $$$ for the safety lenses. Saved my eyes more than once. I use the driving glasses with the bifocal for reading when shooting as I have trouble using the variable lense ones. Frank
