Really a Great Pistol

I've had my 9mm Shield for about a month now and have run about 300 rounds (my own reloads) through it. I've owned several other 9mm pistols over the years - Browning Hi-Power (still have it), S&W Model 59, CZ-75 - and I have to say that this little pistol is really a soft shooting gun. Its also very accurate and I have no problem bouncing the Cabelas plastic ball target from seven yards out to twenty-five yards with regularity. This one is definitely a keeper.

Welcome to the forum. It was the Shield that opened my eyes to the general goodness of the M&P line. Just an excellent little gun! S&W really hit the sweet spot for a concealed carry gun.

I test fired the Shield 9 (rented) while at the range last week. I was quite impressed with the performance and the trigger was very nice. I really liked it.

I'm considering picking one up, for appendix carry, when my M&P40 or 40C carried at 4 o'clock position is not practical, for whatever reason.
