Recommend a Front Sight for M640

Looking at getting a front sight to replace the stock pinned one on my M640. The front sight literally disappears on me in daylight at the range and is difficult to pick up rapidly under most lighting conditions. Nail polish is out for me. I'll buy the sight and have my gunsmith install it. Gun is primarily used in EDC rotation and practice at the range. What do you recommend?

Would like to hear from those who have changed their 640 front sight. I'm leaning toward the XS standard size dot with bright green ring. I would like orange but that is only available on XS Big Dot which I think may be too large (.188" vs .140") and need to be at least half buried in the rear gutter sight.

Check out a XS Big Dot sight or a green fiber optic.

Have had good luck with both.

The 360J has a Big Dot and the 640 has a red fiber optic.

I think the green picks up better but never changed it out.

I just purchased a 640-1 that has an XS standard dot, white outline, I like it, wish it was orange but I do think the big dot would be too large.

A narrower front sight does me a world of good, I'm a fan of Dawson, you can choose height and width.
