Recommendation for Vermont or at least nearby gunsmith

Hi all ! I'm a relatively new member and this is is my first post here so first off perhaps a little intro is called for.

I'm a Viet vet (1st Cav 2/20 ARA gunship pilot in '68) who made it home, went on to practice maritime law for 40 years and is now retired and living in the middle of the Green Mountain national forest with my beautiful wife and two golden retrievers.

Once I left my place of work (crowded, noisy and extremely gun hostile NYC) more than 15 years ago, I began to collect militaria and guns that had figured significantly in military or firearms history.

Despite being a very gun friendly state, Vermont is a small one population-wise and seems to be growing increasingly short on expert gunsmiths. The few that I've relied on in the past have died, moved or retired.

I need a recommendation for a good gunsmith who can correct the timing and cylinder misalignment on a S&W Model 1917 DA 45 ACP revolver and repair/adjust the trigger action on a S&W TopBreak 5 shot 38 S&W revolver.

Any thoughts?

Many thanks!

Geoff
