Red dot on a M&P 22 Magnum

I ran into an issue trying to mount a Sig Romeo Zero Elite on my 22 magnum. The M&P manual say to use the sights screws to mount the sight. Sig provides four sets of screws, none fit the S&W threads on the slide. They are designed to fit 365's or Hellcats. It does have the RMSc mounting. Does S&W use a proprietary thread for the sight mounting?

The closest I can tell, S&W uses American standard 6-32 threads on the 22 magnum. Still I would have to find custom heads to fit the sight base. Decided to take the Sig back. After reading reviews it seems to be lacking in other areas compared to others. I've tried to contact Sig and S&W but I won't hear from them until Monday due to the weekend.

Try looking at ACE hardware. They have specialty screws that you should be able to find in the size you need

I ended up purchasing a Holosun 507K it has their modified RMSc mounting. Had to get speciality screws, flat head socket head 6-32 x 1/2". It works perfect.
