Not a bad way to kill a weekend. I forgot to bring the extra set screws for my M1 and wound up using it like a bolt gun for the show, but otherwise no major hiccups or mishaps. Theoretically this was supposed to be the battle of Heilbronn (of the late Czechoslovakia, circa 1945) but I'm not sure we had enough of the correct units show up to the make the claim. Conveniently, the rain held off until after the shooting (though we did get somewhat pelted when breaking camp). We also had an unusually enthusiastic crowd, which was a decided plus.

Very cool. Up here in Illinois there was a small event in Vandalia this last weekend, and a few weeks prior to that was a very large event in Rockford. Always enjoy seeing footage and pictures from events.
