Refinishing extractor rod

I bought a model 57 and the nickel finish is pretty much unblemished except for the extractor rod. Does anybody know who will renickel small parts like this?

I would use a stainless one and polish it to look like it was nickel. If you shoot it much and it gets scuffed from ejecting the brass..... Re - Polish and it looks like new again. You will still have the original to make it authentic if you choose.

Look for an automotive chrome plater in your area. Most chrome parts are nickel plated first so, they can handle it.
