My Terminator is showing some wear.
Heck, it is a blued gun closing in on 30 years of age... and has been a carry piece most of its life.
I want to send it off and get it refinished so that I have no wear or corrosion issues.
If they can give it a once over and make sure it is in tip top shape... even better.
I am leaning towards hard chrome or maybe an NP3 or NP3+.
Of course a new set of grips would be bolted on also.

Any finish suggestions or places to send her off would be appreciated.

Since those guns have no real collector value (Astra's are better than they have been given credit for, especially the older ones) I would probably give it a more durable finish like hard chrome, but that blue does look pretty good. Out of curiosity what caliber is that? I don't see too many Astra's my way, revolvers are themselves scarce but Astra revolvers are unheard of.

Good looking Astra, it's held up well. I'd go with hard chrome. I have a 25-2 that was armoloyed 30 or so years ago and the finish still looks great. Nothing tougher.

Coatings like Durakote and Gunkote are less expensive options but I hate the look of that spray on paint on stuff.

Holster wear down to the metal on the cylinder, scratch down to the metal on the lower right on the barrel.
And I just want to nip any corrosion issues in the bud.
I carry this gun and I am a sweaty beast of a man.

Seems like Chrome would be the way to go but imagine it's expensive. Most of my guns are stainless so I can buff out any nicks or dings. I think blued looks better though.
