This topic was briefly discussed in regards to a pinfire revolver in the Other Firearms room. In my misspent youth I reloaded both pinfire cartridges' and 32 rim fire cartridges' although I've been told by experts neither can be accomplished. I found this link in the September Muzzle Blasts magazine and thought it too interesting not to pass on, enjoy:

Reloading kit for 7, 9, 11mm pinfire cartridges - revive your vintage Lefaucheux revolvers - - H.L. Publishing

Sorry, I meant to post this in Reloading, not Ammo.

I read an article years ago about reloading pinfire shotgun shells. Anything is possible if you have the time. :-)

I haven't heard of Muzzle Blasts in many years. Somewhere I have maybe a half-dozen issues of them from the 1950s. They were printed by a printing company in my old Ohio home town down on the Ohio River, which was also the original HQ of the NMLRA. Yes, pinfire cartridges can be reloaded. I have done it.

I’ve had a few interesting pinfires, including one that was made entirely of brass.

I knew reloading for them was possible but I had too many other bizarre projects going to get into that.

Pretty cool. Lots of neat old pin fires out there. Good to get them back on the firing line.
