Stopped by one of my LGS's/pawnshop today to just look and was amazed on the amount of reloading supplies and components on the shelves! He has at least quadrupled his inventory within the last several weeks and told me more is on the way! Hope things are looking better all over cuz they sure look better up here in NE Texas!

Did a road trip yesterday. Primers are coming back, but powder is still spotty. Jay's in Clare had a good selection of slower rifle and shotgun powders. They had primers marked $50/1000. Everyone else was selling them for $40/1000.

Pistol powder and anything that can be used to load .223 is still pretty much non-existent anyplace.

I was able to get 5000 Winchester sp primers for $28.00 a thousand. I was starting to worry because my supply was getting low.

I've been calling around looking for W231 powder and having no luck. yesterday I called a LGS a couple towns over (Doc Neely's in Port Angeles WA), and he had some. When I told him to set it aside for me, he laughed and said he had several pounds. $30 + tax. When I went over there, he also had some IMR rifle powders plus some other powders, and lots of jacketed bullets. No Winchester SP primers, but plenty of CCI. Maybe things are looking up after all.
On the other hand, I stopped at Walmart on the way home and their ammo cabinet was looking pretty skimpy. Saw one box of 40 S&W, otherwise no popular centerfire handgun calibers in stock and no 22LR.

Supplies

Was in my LGS yesterday and they have ammo , not lots of it, no 22 rf - no powder - haven't had any for months.....and no primers....

In my area (SF Bay) things are still vary scarce. Some of the shops that use to carry reloading supplies have told me they will no longer be doing so. I was able to score a pound of Win AutoComp the other day. I wish I new someone else that reloads so we could split some orders of powder and primers. The haz mat fee pretty much kills any small orders.

My local gun store has not had any powder or primers in for quite and while and the powder he does get in is shotgun powders. Things haven't improved around here at all as far as I can tell but I'm glad it's improving in some parts of the country.
