Well, I have three bids topping $1,300.

Since Gun Broker will want the fee the high bidder will have to pay up or I'll have to file a non-payment complaint which might get him booted.

Of course, some people are weird and maybe somebody actually wants to own the most famous round of 45 ACP in the world.

$1325.00 right now.

Good luck collecting your money.

The auction has been viewed almost 3,000 times and is being discussed on numerous forums so maybe somebody wants to be a part of something "in the news."

One of the bidders is NR but the other two including the current high bidder had completed auctions. I hope they know what they are doing.

Sorry, no links to live auctions.
Good Luck collecting.

If it actually goes through, I say you've earned the money with your wit and originality. I hope you get the money. That was funny, and seems to have caused quite a stir as well as making a profound statement. Keep us posted.

You gave the winning bidder an out. In hope you don't end up having to return the payment.

No worries, I know of quite a few gun owners who voted for Obummer.

I would have bid,but SP didn't even have
the courtesy to respond to my GB question
on shipping cost and function test.

I guess some sellers are just too busy.

Oh well....

I got a ton of emails on this. I responded to some but others didn't seem to really require an answer.

Hey SP

Just messin with you.

I only sent the message to be a smart ***.

Something like why you put it up for sale I think.

SP, in order to not pay the fee, you should be able to end the auction early and not incure any problems. You could also let the auction run out and then tell GB the deal was not completed and they shouldn't charge you a fee. Of course once they see the auction and realize you used their site for a joke they might make you pay it anyway.

This reminds me of an auction on eBay where a guy's selling wheelweight ingots that are painted gold as "lead bullion".

That's very good, Saxon! You'll have to keep us posted as to the dénouement! (That's French for "what happens," boys.)
