We had threads on this earlier. Some tried to claim that the proposed treaty is innocuous, that there is no possibility that if passed, the Ty could be used to further abridge 2nd Amendment rights. I did research on published summaries of the discussions. There is definitely language that an anti-gun politician could claim required universal registration of firearms and universal background checks. Language that requires tracking and monitoring the whereabouts of firearms. Remember, this is a "small-arms" treaty, and there is no assurance that it would only try to regulate the movement of military weaponry.
Please search the thread pertaining to this and see my and others' research, and contact your respective US Senators.
If you are not a member of NRA you should be. If you are a member, send them some money and sign up a few new members.
