REMINDER... Valentines Day is Monday

because of work schedules and Stupid Bowl we are celebrating tonite... Marinated Venison loin.. slow n low roasted with broil finish.. seasoned & roasted potatoes... sautéed onions & mushrooms... romaine salad with homemade dressing... my much better half skipped salad and added broccoli... she is so worth it.. don't forget to spoil the ones that put up with you...

Well, my wife spoils me all year long, so on valentine's day I go out of my way to return that. I used to do the traditional stuff like flowers, but my wife once said to me "don't you dare waste your money on flowers that wilt and are WAY too expensive.
If you REALLY want to show me how much you love me just roll up a box of 45 ACP shells for me". Yeah, she's really a keeper!

Well..for the gal in my life now, she won't get any sweets,(she's diabetic) and I'm not planning on getting her a cute card to let her know how much I love her...

I'm not planning on taking her out to some fancy place to eat, nor give her any sparkling stuff...

But I probably will give her some extra of her special treats she likes, and probably give her a little extra tummy rub at bed time....

In return, she gives me some slobber kisses to let me know she loves me too.

Can't ask for a better Valentines day than that, could a fellow?

And on top of that, we're about the same age, she just turned 12 last month...I think that makes us about the same age...I know she is sure getting grey hair all over like me, and wants to take her naps at regular times!!!!
