Remington 870 Wingmaster shell carrier upgrade

I have my Remington 870 Wingmaster and it has the earlier shell carrier without the slot in case the shell rides under it, jamming up the gun. I was wondering if anyone has ever upgraded the older style to the newer version which includes a couple of parts. If anyone knows all the parts I might need, it would be greatly appreciated.

I think Remington offers the parts as a kit. It's called the Flexi-tab
kit I believe. You might check their web site. It's described and
recommended in the Kuhnhausen manual on 870 and 1100 shotguns.
