Remington ammo report

I was at Scheels (big sporting goods store) on Saturday and bought some NEW Remington ammo.

I'm guessing it came out of the Arkansas manufacturing plant. Fingers crossed the ammo shortage will be over soon!!!!!

I believed the boxes are marked "Made in Lonoke Arkansas" if made there.

I picked up some 3 boxes of 308, 1 box of 30/30 and 1 box of 22's Friday. That is what I thought. I guess only time will tell. I went and looked at the boxes and the boxes are marked Arkansas.

I checked the sgammo website today and they had several different types of brass case FMJ 9mm for about $.65/ round. When I checked a few weeks ago they had one type at $.80/round. Still way too expensive for me but at least availability is improving and prices are headed the right direction. Not sure how much of that is Remington coming back increasing supply but that couldn't hurt. I suspect it has more to do with people feeling less like the world is spinning out of control.

I stopped by a LGS today and they were selling a box of 50 9MM FMJ for $90.
