I called them up and told them I had a single barreled shotgun to send back for repair. They said great, they'd send out a label since I pressed them for one. She then asked me for the serial number, and I gave it to her- and she said it wasn't in their system. I assured her that it was a Remington 12 gauge single barrel and I wanted the headspace repaired since it was out of specifications through use, and I'd like to have it reblued while they're at it. She's sending me the label.
I wonder what's going to happen when they open the box to find a Remington No. 3 made in 1896?
You don't think they confused it with one of those russian jobs they were selling a while back, do you?
If they say something that they won't repair it- I'll say that S&W customers send back stuff this old all the time.
(I won't say whether they repair it or not)
