Remington Thunderbolts HV

Just picked up a brick from a friend. What is the verdict on shooting this round through your 15-22? Was told its no good.

I've shot a couple hundred rounds of Rem gold bulk through my 15-22.

It's dirty, and I've experienced a few FTF. Overall it's not the worst I've used.

Try it, it can't be any worse that that the bulk gold.

I fired tens of thousands of rounds of Rem. Thunderbolt without a hitch. As low cost .22 ammo goes it is my preferred make and model.

At least it's ammo to shoot, and to enjoy your M&P 15-22.

I have a a couple bricks too. Shooting a 25 rnd magazine might sound a little like this:

Sometime the bolt stays open on the last round, sometimes not. One or two failures to fire, but then I can practice clearing rounds.

More importantly.... shooting "the magazine" above definitely beats not shooting any ammo at all, right? Particularly with the M&P 15-22

Instead of Thunderbolts perhaps they could be marketed as Remington Hyper-Velocity Model T's? Bahahahahahahahaha
