Early this week I sent a query to Mossberg if they were
thinking about making the Shockwave in 20 gauge. That
caliber would make me go get one.

Here is their response:

Thank you for your e-mail. There are currently no plans
on offering the Shockwave in 20 gauge. I will pass your
suggestion onto our new products department. If we can
be of further assistance, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Customer Service Team
O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc.

SO if you want one in 20 gauge send them a request. If
enough of us Whine they might cobble a a few together.

Serger - thanks for starting if off. I'll send one off also. Can't hurt to try. I'd be all over one in 20 ga. also. PEN

serger: Thank you.

I sent my request in and i encourage my fellow forum members who want to see a mossberg shockwave in 20 gauge to let the mossberg company know.

With all the improvements to 410 buckshot and self defense type loads I was thinking the 410 shotgun might make a decent inside the home weapon for older recoil sensitive persons .
I would have to look long and hard at a 410 Shockwave .
In the 12 ga. videos the recoil is rather " brisk" ... a 410 would be quite manageable . I want to see the 20 ga. in action too , it might be just the ticket.

Taurus will be putting a 14 inch barrel on the Judge... :D

J/K. I've been thinking about a .410 double for a while, but I'd jump all over a .410 Shockwave myself.

My impression always has been that .410 recoil is fairly sharp . . .

Good news, this is ... I've seen more than a couple of reviews talking about the recoil of the 12-Ga version. Mossberg even took the time to re-design and reduce the size of the receiver. Now, I just need some money ... :(

Wish they would make a few in 16 gauge..but we know that ain't gonna happen.
