I would like to tell you what happened to me.
In this story there are three actors,
Me, frustrated and impotent (not sexually, I have filled the world with children) and bad knowledge of the English language.
Mister X an eminent member of this forum, very wise and capable of understanding men deeply, in short almost a god.
Finally the Seller, in my eyes an unscrupulous fixer who sells on GunBroker, in the eyes of Mister X a slightly confused old man who messes around with the computer keyboard.
I would like to point out that I only know this gentleman from the forum through these pages, I don't know him personally.
Some time ago I asked this friend from the forum if he could do me the courtesy of buying something for me, something legal, let's be clear.
His contribution was supposed to be to send a Postal Money Order for me.
I would have advanced him the money and expenses.
This gentleman, who we will call Mister X, agrees and immediately sends the MO.
In the meantime, bad weather gets involved and sends everything to pieces, all the packages and mail pile up in a USPS warehouse, creating chaos.
At that point Mister X finds himself stuck in an unparalleled mess, he feels responsible for having sent my money in the storm and I for my part feel helpless and totally dependent on Mister X.
Weeks pass and all is quiet.
After about a month Mister X, pressured by the seller who is still waiting for his MO, goes to the post office to ask for clarifications.
He is told that he can file a complaint and that his money will be refunded.
In the meantime I was just a frustrated spectator of this theater.
Instead, the seller, who I only realized at the end was a slightly confused old man, occasionally sent messages that seemed threatening to me, while to Mister X they seemed confused.
Mastery of the language plays a role in this story.
Mister X, as a wise man, decides to shorten the waiting time for the refund and to advance the amount of the MO to the old seller with a PayPal payment.
At that point my frustration was at its highest, because in addition to having put Mister X in a big mess, I felt guilty because he had advanced money for me.
At the best moment, the postal warehouse send signs of life. The MO tracking which had been stopped for a month and a half become pulsing, started moving and within two days the MO become delivered.
The old and confused seller, perhaps having lost the thread of the conversation, also cashed in the MO, so he found himself having received double the money...
Not happy with that, he sent me an email asking for more, many more.
I, who still hadn't understood that he was old and confused, write a letter to Mister X saying that I would have been willing to unleash the biggest firestorm against the seller, since the eruption of the Krakatoa volcano.
Luckily I had met Mister X on my path.
Who coldly says to me: Marcello relax this gentleman is old and confused...
Write to him and remind him of your agreement.
And as Mister X predicted everything was resolved in a better way.
Thanks Lee Jarrett for your help. I'm grateful.
Guys sorry for my english
