Hi, I just bought a S&W Airweight Model 360 .38 and now I was just putting the box away and the label says it is a .357 mag. I checked the serial number to make sure I just didn't get the wrong box, but the serial number matches. The barrel of the gun says .38, so do you think the box label is a misprint, or can this thing also shoot .357 ammo? Thank you.

There are different model 360 revolvers. The 360J is chambered for .38 Spl only. The others, the PD and the M&P, are chambered for .357, and will also fire .38s.

Try to load .357 rounds in each chamber. If you can, the gun is in a .357 chambering and you can also fire .38s. I might stop by the LGS again to ask the dealer's opinion of what happened. Other posters may already know.

This is an interesting one...
