Revolulitis: rĭ-vŏlˈv-yə-līˈtĭs
noun
An inflammation of the brain causing the afflicted person to buy more revolvers than he/she can afford.

Signs: the sighting of a revolver, whether real or in picture form, results in palpitations, disorientation, transient hypertension, and cold sweats.

Symptoms: feelings of envy and/or jealousy, followed by a flood of instantaneous justifications and/or thoughts of hiding places where the new revolver can be hidden from the spouse.

Treatment: there is no known cure. Temporary relief can occur with the purchase of a new revolver, but signs and symptoms will recur as soon another revolver has been sighted – especially here on the S&W Forum

Here is a test to see if you are afflicted with this highly contagious malady:
Greetings fellow Smithophiles.
Much has been discussed recently about the perfection that is 3" Smiths.
The 10s,13s,65s, 66s,547s,686s,696s,24s,624s,27s,657s, 625s.
And even the J frames with their full length ejector rods get the nod.
Everybody loves them. Everybody wants them.

They are cool and look bad A**.

To qualify for this thread it has to be a Smith and Wesson
between 3.0"s and 3.975"s.

Js, Ks, Ls, Ns, and X frames are all welcome.

So let's do this. Post pictures of all your Three inchers.

Edited September 2nd. 2011. Here is a group shot of all current 3in. Smiths.

YOU SUCK! I had to Pawn my 9mm so I could bring my 28-2 home early, and now I have to sell the kids so I can bring the 49 home. Not to mention the model 40 and 36 that keep calling my name, oh and then there's the model 29 and 625 as well. What the Hell am I supposed to do about getting those?

Nice group photos though. :D

Seems as if I've developed a touch of this malady.

I have more than a "touch." I'm contemplating my next purchase even as I type this post. As soon as I can find a hiding place that the little lady won't think to look in, I'm getting an 8-shot 327 Night Guard.

Why worry about what the wife thinks? Here's a picture of her standing just to the left of my 627.

I know this should be in in the Classified section,but....
Does anyone want to buy a 1953 vintage kidney? Lots of mileage left in it. Left or right available.
You see there are 2 model 10s and a BHP I have a line on....

I've had this problem for a few years. There's no cure, you can only treat the symptoms. Everybody knows what the treatment consists of.

Selling kidneys, now that's one I haven't considered. How about Spleens, I hear you don't really need one. ;)

I think I would be diagnsoed with this condition. As you point out, there is no cure...unfortunately, my insurance won't cover proper and regular "treatments". I self-treat to the best of my ability, but to keep this condition properly managed, you have to have a pretty good job.

I too am afflicted with this chronic disease. Have a 66-3 3" and a just aquired 27-2 3 1/2" in blue .
Allen Frame is the "Man" and he's terminal. He's waaaaaay beyond
a cure.

Cured? Who wants to be cured? If I couldn't appreciate the beauty of my humble little gathering of Smiths, life wouldn't be worth a pilfered penny.

I would like to be a fly on the wall when your wife sees this. :D Larry

I got a treatment for the disease, yesterday. A 3" 65-3. Third treatment since the first of the year.

I don't wanna be cured. I just wanna have MORE REVOLVERS.

Who wan't a second hand mother in law? Very cheap bearly used. If wanted the daugther and kids are extra.

Who want'sto buy a nice second hand Train. It is a so called Dutch Virm 6.
You can transport your complete family and friends without any problem.
The only problem is a nice parking spot. But in America that shoulden't be a problem.
