You can go to the manufacturers website and view/download the manual for it. Most all the riders use a battery in the same group. BUT occasionally, someone will be picky enough to make the battery compartment just to fit only one particular type.

deck had 1 broken hanging boss. dropped deck, hammered the metal back into level w/ the deck. went over to boro maint. bldg., in a scrap bin and was given an old stop sign. patterened a plate, to cover the hole in the deck plus several inches on each side. had to reverse eng. the plate over the hole so the adj. hanger bolt and lowering bar lined up w the lugs above on the frame. drilled/ taped boss and plate, 90 deg. pcs. bolt boss to plate to deck. the adj. hanger bolt and hanger bar lined up when i mounted the deck. YEW!! it cut the grass great at 3 1/2". then adj. the angle of the blades useing the adj. hanger bolts. i will tell you these 80+ year old bones were sore for a couple of days. getting up and down over the several days. but felt good useing my machinist/ fitter skills. haven't cut the lawns since finishing the deck adjustments, it hasn't stopped raining for a week.

Buy a Walmart battery and purchase a Battery Tender to use at all times. The manufacturers don’t want their batteries lasting more than a year anyway.

my buddy across the street lent me use his charger. by mistake he ordered 2, 1 came w/ out the wires, he related to me when the wires come in i can have the 2 ed. charger.--also while chargeing the battery, found a loose nut on the STARTER selenoid. but i think the battery is old.

I buy mine from Advance Auto Parts. Last one lasted close to 5 years. I always keep it on a Battery Tender. I check it around every 6 months to see if it needs water.

It gets really hot in my shed in the summer.

Really?? I have Wally 12 lawn mower batteries in my 2 skeet houses that are more than 3 years old. I charge them about once a year. They do a good job of powering my traps and electronic controllers. Never owned a battery tender.........Never needed it.

I get about 7 years of an Autozone battery in my big mower.

I use a battery tender. I also buy the largest battery that will fit. The larger than original battery really spins fast and starts easier.

Heat and vibration can be tough on a battery.

Rural King offers mower batteries for $28 with a one year warranty.
I sell batteries and my cost is more than that.
Keep a battery tender connected when not using it.
Discharged batteries can sulfate and kill the battery.

My Cub Zero Turn battery lasted 3 years on the factory. I had sold the farmhouse and needed a battery to sell the mower. Menards had a sale and the largest battery that fit was $19.99! I sold the mower and the new owner was mowing the year on the same battery. Sure Surprised Me!

Years ago, my riding buddies and I were getting only a year or two with the batteries in our harley's. Then I read up on battery tender and tried one. Ended up getting about 5 or 6 years battery life in most bikes. That sold a couple of the guys, who still use them. One hold out, and to this day, he still replaces batteries every year or two in his bikes.
