RIP Paul Harrell

I didn't discover him until about 5 years ago and came to enjoy most of his videos. I appreciated his dry wit and common sense approaches to his topics without jumping into the "tactical" bandwagon. He will be missed. May He Rest In Peace.

PAUL HARRELL PASSES

I just watched the video Paul made back in December that he wanted played when he passed. Well it just hit the channel. Sad that a relatively young man had to suffer such a grueling death. I did enjoy watching his channel and his brother Roy intends to continue on with what Paul had been doing.

For those who have watched Roy, yes he is a bit of a novice at this, needs some coaching but hopefully he will catch on fast. I wish him luck and hope he is successful.

Rest in Peace Paul...... :(

Yeah I will miss his videos. I didn’t watch them a lot but when I did I learned something and was entertained. I liked that he had NO ego and didn’t take himself too seriously. RIP Paul

Paul.....

...it was OUR privilege to watch your videos.

We don't listen to the hearsay about your character.

I saw some videos he made while on his crutch. What a very brave guy. Pancreatic cancer is not for sissies. He put up a great fight.

I'll be looking forward to more videos from Roy.

He brought a great deal of useful, no-BS firearms content to YouTube media, without the false bravado, obnoxious narcissism and smug shilling that 90% of the functional idiots on that medium deliver.

He was an accomplished shooter, a military veteran, and a humble sincere educator. His dry wit, and flair for creating interest out of what could be mundane content, also made him popular, while presenting a wide range of firearms topics from a position of knowledge and sincerity. Pioneering and perfecting his signature "meat target", he provided a unique perspective on bullet performance.

Along with all that, he made entertaining non-firearms content, like his Thanksgiving Day specials, and outdoor cooking demonstrations.

I hope his content stays online, as someone looking to learn could not do better than start with his videos.

RIP

He was a great guy and gave much to our hobby. Got to meet him several times at shows and e-mailed a couple times. He handed out playing cards, each with a nice .45 hole in them. Will miss him.

Within four hours, there's been about 37,000 messages of condolence, yet to the liberal elite who rule this state of Oregon, people like Paul and his brother Roy are the bad guys.

I will continue to support Roy as he grows into his new role.
