I guess the Sturgill special will now be two shots and a slice.
You just can't trust those honor students.
"An order had been called in to Pizza Hut on Irmo Drive for two large, thin-crust pizzas with extra cheese for delivery to a house on Avery Lane." Well, there's an example of the shrewd, cut-to-the-bone, investigative reporting we've come to expect from newspapers. Shots fired, armed victim fights back successfully, robber killed, and we get details of the pizza order...
"... he was met by a young man outside the house to whom he was delivering the pizza..."
...the house to whom... now the house has been anthropomorphized ---will we find it with little arms and legs, eyes, ears, nose, a cartoon smiley face anticipating its pizza delivery?
Good Grief! Is it any wonder that newspapers are losing readership and failing right and left? Where's the editor? Where's the copyeditor? Where's the pet peeves thread?
