Anyone have experience with the Rise Armament 3.5 LB trigger? If so, any issues or concerns?

Looking at these:

I have the RA-140 in an AR. Appears to be the same as the one you're showing. Much better than a standard mil-spec. I installed it w/ KNS anti-rotational pins (the 15-22 pins are longer and available). Nothing wrong with it at all for the price. I have 3-4 other aftermarket triggers which I like better but they are more costly. Not sure how the RA functions with a rim fire. As you've likely read, a little bit of pre-travel (acceptable), nice break, closer to 4lbs on mine (no biggie). I noticed the RA-140 at opticsplanet is 119.00 w/ free pins and free shipping. If you can determine it'll work with the 15-22 I'd go for it. 4 July sales around the corner.

Remember, you'll need to purchase the anti-rotation pins specified for the 15-22. AR pins are too short.

According to the instructions the anti-rotation pins are not an absolute requirement. In the below link pay close attention to step 8 regarding the 2 "set screws". You want them to just touch the bottom of the rcvr. Since this is a polymer rcvr, you'd be best served to cut a small section of thin brass, etc stock and position it in the rcvr where the 2 screws make contact. An alternative is to cut a small piece of a drink can and do same. You're just keeping the screws from digging into the polymer.

Follow Up

So I pulled the trigger and purchased the RA Patriot High Performance Trigger. Love the trigger, however, I get light strikes/failure to fires about every few rounds on average. Besides getting a different trigger, is there any way to fix this?

A lot of "drop in" type triggers that have lighter trigger pulls have issues with blow back operated rifles. (9mm, 22lr etc) You could try cutting a few coils or get a lighter firing pin spring. Not guaranteed to work tho. There are a couple of old threads on this issue somewhere.

I have a CMC trigger in 2 different blow back 22lr rifles as well as a couple POF triggers. Both work very well. I have also read reports of great success with the Hiperfire series of triggers in the 15-22 and CMMG 22 conversions. I going to eventually try a a Hiperfire trigger, appear to have a lot going for them.
