Went to the gun show today and only had about 2 hrs time since i arrived later than normal. Some things I noticed off the bat--prices were down on most stuff--less junk guns on the few aisles I had time to waltz through. I saw lots of stuff I had not seen at previous shows in awhile for lever action rifles like--Winchester 30-30s, Henry 357s, many Mares Legs and such. For you Smith and Wesson fans--lots to choose from.
Now I only had time to venture through maybe 3 full aisles, but I noticed prices on Springfields, Remingtons and loads others--are falling. I saw two very nice and mint conditioned Winchester 30-30s im interested in which include one of the Winchester "Gold Trigger" and a run of the mill make--both exactly what I want but not till after I complete the deal im still working on. Those respectfully were priced at $600 and $400--the cheapest prices on any Winchesters ive seen in ages.
The 357 Henrys--all new made and I cant recall price off hand but THINK they were around $400-to maybe $500.
My choice of 3 GI 45s is still valid.
I saw more and good quality older military stuff for sale--prices coming down.
I was interested in a few Smiths but didnt have time to note prices and makes and such, but what I remember looking at seemed to be priced at a nice price. Many Glocks there but--I dont care for them so didnt pay attention to them. I have nothing against Glocks--just dont want any.
Ammo--I only had literally seconds to look at some here and there-didnt see any 22 for sale--but remember I only visited about 3 aisles so I did not see everything. The stuff I did pay attention to--were still about 2-3 times over WM or Academy prices.
All I intended coming away with today--were edible items like: more Salsa Verde, spices for meat, spices for making dip mix--which ive tried and is outta this world, and this ought to make DTrina happy--picked up some bread dipping oil which I tried and was excellent, Beef Jerky, Honey Roasted Cinnamon Pecans and some other stuff. Got a free Carrot Cake buying from my Salsa Verde lady as well as a discount.
As for the rest of the show-since I had no time to look since I spent most of it with two of my Nephews, I cant say.
