I was offered one of these some years back. Glad I passed on it. Anyone have first hand experience of their own to share?

There's also another excellent video of a fellow who at the range bravely (foolishly?) runs live rounds through a pair of these. Unfortunately, the maker of that video allows access to it only on YouTube, prohibiting my providing the direct link to it here.

There's a few on here who own the Steyr GB, the pistol the Rogak attempted to copy. The GB prefers hot ammo, and the military model has a very heavy DA pull, so I shoot mine SA all the time. Magazines are VERY hard to come by and sell for $200 or more each. That's about all I can say about it.

I remember reading about that when it first came out. First time I ever saw the term jamamatic in a gun magazine. The thing that stayed in my head the most was the comment that the grips were held on with Phillips heads. The author said he had never seen Phillips head screws used in a gun before.

I don't have a Rogak, but I do have an example of the gun it tried to copy.

I bought it in 1986 for $300. Per the 1986 Gun Digest retail price was $595, but had a friend with an FFL and he ordered it for me from Gun South. The Glock 17 was available then for about the same price (retail $443 but dealer price about $330) but I figured hey, 18 round magazine vs 17. I did eventually get a Glock 19.

Nice box. The boxes for mine have not fared so well. One is a commercial like yours, the other is a military model with a kind of gray-ghost finish.

I've owned two GB's for decades; a military and a commercial version. Both have compensators, which are difficult to find. I picked up a NIB commercial a few years ago, but I don't have a photo. They're fabulous shooters!

I remember seeing one at the L.A. Gun Show at the Fairgrounds in about '87 or '88. Thought the concept was pretty good. Was not very flush with cash to buy one though.

The Rogaks are not bad little pistols for the money.

They’re serviceable and reliable enough. No, they’re not pretty, but can do the job in a pinch if absolutely necessary.

Soldier of Fortune did a review of the Rogak. They had a picture of it on a page and said "Turn page for complete review." You turned the page to see someone throwing it into a lake.
I have that issue somewhere around here! I can't remember who wrote the article, but his words were LESS than complimentary about this pistol with the stinging declaration "Buy it is you must...but you couldn't give it to me!"
