This is a new one on me. I am used to Bedell Rogers having his own makers mark. This is the first I have had marked "Roger's Saddlery" and the lacing looks a little different.

For a 1911. It sure looks similar to mine stamped Bedell Rogers Maker Longview Texas. Lacing is more like some other Bedell Rogers holsters that I have. May be a later stamp.

That's the stamp I'm used to. Most of his lacing that I have had is really wide and doesn't appeal to me so much.

I do have one holster with that mark in my image file. My view is that it is the post-L.A. Sessums mark while father Robert and son Bedell Rogers had their own shop together. That was announced in a 1947 newspaper article and it was followed by an ad for Rogers Saddlery in '48. Prior they worked for L.A. Sessums making his gunleather and he died in '45; his partner Fisher carried on without the Rogers (father born Rodiges). The two of them next appear in a '58 city directory as Bedell Leathercraft. So the mark in question w/b for as much as ten years before that.

All this makes the OP's holster very rare among the TX makers of the late 20th century.
