I know this is a very long shot but does anyone know of a dealer who may have the new Rolex Daytona in stainless in stock. This watch is recently introduced and almost impossible to find. At my age I am too old to put my name on a waiting list to perhaps get one in two to three years.

I'd try some of the big certified dealers in NY, Chicago, and LA. I walked past some of the big certified dealers on 5th Avenue a couple of weeks ago. It would surprise me if they didn't have something, provided you brought enough money. It seems likely to me that any place with stupid amounts of money-like 5th Avenue-is going to have a bumper crop of Rolexes around.

...and you pay retail... There are enough "gray market" outlets out there that you should not pay retail. Try Alan Furman in Maryland; he lists all Daytonas at a substantial discount.

If it's a new popular reference with limited retail availability, you may well pay over retail going the gray market route.

Another place you might try is bobswatches dot com.
I have used them three times with excellent service and price.
