Roper's For Colt

Picked these up and of course they were for a Colt. They have all the Roper clues, less the ribbon design. There is some damage on the bottom of one panel that could be easily fixed and does not affect the checkering. More importantly the checkering is perfect. I like the design. There is no screw, anyone know if it is a common thread size?

Nice grips!

I am not all that knowledgeable about Ropers, but recalled the Kevin Williams article on these, and went to look for it among my gun books. Unfortunately, I must have left that article in my other house.

Found this, though, online:

Grips screw sets will generally be of the type Smith and Wesson used during the same era.
