Not at all. Theres a mystique to them as well.
A Honk Kong pistol brings to mind dark, smokey waterfront bars. Distant footsteps running down a dark alley, past opium dens. Glances from exotic, beautiful EuroAsian women you would sell your soul for. Large, dark ships slinking away from the docks on a fog-filled night, their cargo holds filled with exotic treasures from the Orient.
All that wrapped up in a magic revolver.
No, these are in no way "one of a million other Model 10s."![]()
My sentiments exactly, although my opinion may be swayed by the fact I have one that’s “been there”. It has rust freckles, wear, the stocks are nearly black. It didn’t spend it’s career in some desk drawer. It, no doubt has seen street duty. I can picture some street cop pounding the beat in monsoon rain with it strapped to his side.
I like it for what it is.
