Popped up on one of the gun deal sites the other day, $244 at Tombstone Tactical, so I thought I'd check it out since they're only a few miles from my house. Even though Ruger has discontinued it I couldn't pass it up. Thought the trigger was gritty, had some excessive creep, but after the initial clean and lube it's actually pretty good. Going to hit the range this afternoon.

I bought one when they first came out. I liked it better than the SR9, because it eliminated some of the features that I didn't like. It only came with one magazine, but at the time there was a sale on SR9 magazines, two for $44...which is about what one costs usually. (I don't know why Ruger mags are so expensive.) I don't remember the trigger being bad on mine. Anyway, congratulations on your new gun...I hope you enjoy it!

You guys were right, I really like this pistol. 100 ball rounds without a hitch. Didn't have any defensive ammo with me to test but I will next time. Grouped under 3" at 10 yards with the second mag fired (10 rounds).
