Interesting. I never was a fan of the V notch rear on my Hunter. I'd be interested in how these stack up in accuracy at the range. Seems like they would be quick to acquire (maybe at the cost of a bit of accuracy since the front sight floats in the middle.) Keep us posted.

IMHO, THAT WILL BE A GREAT ADDITION, ESPECIALLY FOR FIELD USE, ON THE ALREADY EXCELLENT RUGER MK-II.....

BTW, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A RUGER SEMI-AUTO WITH A V NOTCH REAR SIGHT. MY RUGER MK-II GOVERNMENT TARGET MODEL, CAME WITH A SQUARE NOTCH REAR SIGHT. THE ADDITION OF AN AIMPOINT, IN A B-SQUARE CLAMP ON MOUNT, ALLOWED ME TO MAINTAIN AN AVERAGE IN THE 290s. FOR 2 DECADES IN BULLSEYE COMPETITION....

IMHO, THE RUGER MK-II GOVERNMENT TARGET MODEL IS COMPETITIVE WITH ANY GUN ON THE FIRING LINE, NO MATTER ITS COST.....

THERE'S THE ANSWER TO WHY I NEVER SAW A V-NOTCH ON A RUGER SEMI-AUTO. I NEVER HANDLED A "HUNTER" MODEL....

AS YOU RIGHTFULLY REMARK---THE GHOST RING MAY LACK A BIT OF ACCURACY ON BULLSEYE TARGETS, BUT THAT IS NOT ITS INTENDED PURPOSE. RAPID SIGHT ALIGNMENT IN HUNTING SITUATIONS, SHOULD BE ENHANCED.....

follow up... the advertising lists the MKII but the blades also work on the MK III and MK IV pistols. I installed them on my MK IV 22/45 Lite to test them on speed shooting steel reaction plates and bowling pin matches.

For speed shooting the Ruger V-notch works better than the square notch and these aperture/ghost ring blades should be faster yet....will be shooting them soon.

I'm curious about the easy 5min. installation and price?

simple quick installation

pricing and installation instructions are on the manufacturers website (web address is listed at the bottom of the first picture if you missed it)
