With ammo prices they way they are currently we decided instead of a normal monthly 3 gun match, we are running a Tactical Rimfire match. Imagine uspsa and 3 gun style stages but with .22 rifles and pistols. i use my M&Ps in steel challenge but there is almost no movement. this TR match will have lots of movement with reloads and gun to gun transitions. Targets will be a mix of mini IPSC, IPSC and steel knock off plates, mini poppers and even a dueling tree! I will be running my M&P15-22 with Primary Arms Micro, magpul goodies, JP trigger springs. (pistol will be my M&P22) i will take video of the match and post them up.

Had a great match. 13 shooters came out including our local 10 year old prodigy. we only had one squib scare but it was a false alarm. i had two rifle jams but i handled them quick. I ended up winning the match. M&P22 ran like a champ. The 15-22s jams were probably mag loading related. BTW my ammo was CCI AR Tactical.

oh and here is the 10 year old running stage 6. He is always very safe and is a very good shooter for his age. he shoots USPSA, IDPA and steel challenge
