Cabela's still has S&B primers for $19.99 and free shipping if over a $99 order. An order of 5000 primers is $99.95. Their hazmat is only $20 also.

I got some S&B small pistol primers at a local gun club for nearly $10/k savings over the others. In a trial 9mm run they have performed flawlessly and with no noticeable difference from WSP etc.
Except they are very square shouldered and a bit different color, functionally in small short term test they seem just fine to me.
I did have MUCH trouble for unknown reasons with Tula, which often wanted to mount sideways in my 650 press.

I got 3000 from Cabelas. They arrived today. I plan to load a couple hundred rounds with them for this weekend to try them out. I've used their .357 rounds before and they appear to be the same primer as these. I will let you know after I fire a few.

I've shot the SPP in multiple calibers with no problems. In a recent 223 load workup test the S&B primers produced significant more velocity per given charge (+60-80fps) than CCI-450 and WSR. Wolf were right along side the S&B for velocity. The fired cups were very flat compared to the CCI so I suspect thinner metal.
