SOLD Beautiful first year savage 99F lightweight in 243. Murry's book says 243 introduced in 1959, but our seasoned Sav 99 collectors have seen several now in low 9XX,XXX. Lever boss code is H = 1956. This one is 921,201 a pre mil example from Chicopee Falls. Rifle is truly like new except for a crack in the grip cap. Totally original and what you would look for in a mid 50's lightweight 99F. Bore is like new, I am sure the action is spot on given the condition, however, I have not fired it or worked shells thru the action. If you need more pics, just ask. No marks on the metal, no marks on the wood. A real time capsule beauty. I honestly don't know how it has survived in this condition for 64 yrs.
